Also, there is a new hat for Farnsworth Bertie.

AND a new curtain.

And some bonkers handspun.

This is what happens when you have too much sugar in your diet.

I have finally finished the jumper I was knitting. Unfortunately, Oblong has been away on ‘business’ for a few months, so I had to guess at a few of the measurements. Still, it’s better that it’s a little too big for him, than too small.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY OBLONG!
My secret knitting is blocking, and I spotted a mistake.
I’m not frogging it now though, and I’m not going to point it out either. If the recipient is mean-spirited enough to deliberately notice it then it will serve as a healthy reminder that only Super Monkey is perfect.

I’ve just this minute finished my secret knitting, but I can’t take a photo because it’s a secret so instead I will post pretty pictures of my chilly morning in the snow.

We no longer have snow on Planet Donkey! Monkey! It’s considered inconvenient and old fashioned. Instead, we spend the year’s snow budget on puppies for ponies. Boot sales are down, but pony morale is up. It’s a policy I feel the leaders on your puny charming planet should consider. What’s good for ponies is good for princesses. And what do princesses make?

Throw be done, but still no sign of the jumper yarn so I had to start something else to pass the time but the something else is a secret something else so I can’t post a piccy. So I did some spinning instead, but I’m still not very good so you’re not allowed to say mean things.

I’m spinning up some yellow next to go with it so it will be good and garish when it’s plied. It will take people’s attention away from the lumps.

Attention destashers! For anyone on a yarn diet, and also for many who aren’t, my bestest find of the day is this site… http://www.craftmemo.com
It lets you make an inventory of your yarn and a gallery of everything you knit from it. It’s really simple to use and, best of all, it’s free. It’s also very scary how quickly the value of your stash adds up as you pop in the prices of everything you bought. You could always fib about that if it starts to upset you though.
Knit Picks lace, dyed with Kool Aid knitted up into an Icarus shawl.

I finished it between Crimbo and New Years and it’ll prolly be a present for someone which means I’ve already begun my Christmas knitting.
HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!
I’m not sure if that’s a smug laugh or the laugh of insanity.

Honorable mentions go to my Jojoland Quartette socks and my Touch Yarns lace scarf. But Mosschops is keeping those for watching his soaps in. We don’t let him have the heating on when we’re out and he gets a wee bit nippy, SO HE CLAIMS.

I was knitting a jumper, and that would have been finished by the weekend, but I’ve run out of yarn. Oops. So I’ve started my Perugino throw while I wait for the rest of the yarn to turn up.
