I am lazy and rubbage. I confess. But I’m very pretty so I know you’ll forgive me. OR DIE!

I’ve not been knitting much of interest, so there’s not been much to post. I made a decision to knit all of my sock yarn until there was none left, and socks is socks is socks.

and multiply by another umpteen pairs and you’ll know what I’ve been up to. I’ve lost count of how many pairs I’ve made, but it takes me 4-6 days per pair and it’s all I’ve been doing since the last post, apart from taking a couple of days off to finish my peril sensitive snood.

T’is pure cashmere and I’m worth it.

If anything bad happens I always have somewhere soft to hide.

What else? Erm. Well, there’s Crimbo. This is the tree my mother never let me have as a child. What is it about parents and ‘good taste’?

My mother has never seen my tree. I don’t think the shock would kill her or anything, but I don’t see the need to rub her nose in how truly magnificent Crimbo would have been if she’d only listened to me.

Geronimo the Crimbo Giraffe is getting very excited.

Because I never did get around to posting about what I got up to the afternoon after the SnB I shall post the highlight photo instead.

We went to the British museum, you see. And we were busy ignoring all the ‘DO NOT CLIMB ON THE EXHIBITS!’ signs (we only set off one alarm, we set it off a few times, but it was only ever that one alarm) when this chap walks up to me and exclaims ‘You’re that monkey off the internet!’ And do you know what? It’s true! I AM that monkey off the internet!

We had a little chat, after which it turned out that I might not be that monkey off the internet afterall, but he got his mate to take photos just in case I was. I’m not sure what country he’s from, but it doesn’t matter because my fame is spreading and soon I will rule this puny planet with a furry fist be famous in them all and possibly win Eurovision.
